For months, I knew something "new" was coming down the creative pike...but I had no idea what.
I felt listless, searching for that "other" that I felt my soul needed to be doing (besides from-the-head Tarot writing).
I kept getting the Queen of Cups in a reading, an indicator (for me) that I need to look deeply inside and create from that soulful, emotional, non-critical place.
Quite different from the energy of my usual M.O. of Queen of Wands + Queen of Swords.
Would this "new thing" be fiction writing? Hmm. Will have to wait until at least one, probably two Tarot books are finished to even contemplate that...
Short stories? Maybe...
Poetry? I miss writing poetry. That feeds my soul. But there's something else...
And then I began doing Inspired Art on 3.5 x 3.5 artist tiles (white, at first--but now, black).
Something bloomed and unfolded in me.
And I can't stop.
And it's feeding that creative yearning within me that just could't be filled by writing non-fiction--or even playing with coloring books.
I make at least one piece a day--but, usually, 3-5.
Here are some of them:
I'm making these pieces of Inspired Art--as well as Poetry, Mini Tarot Vision Boards, Your Intention Drawing and monthly Tarot Readings on my Patreon page here.
I've also added TWO more Tiers to my Patreon site: le Voyeur ($1 a month, for those who want exclusive access to my private feed--What I'm Reading, Recommended for Creatives, Personal Playlists, Behind-the-Scenes pics and more)--and L'art Fois Quatre (for those who would like FOUR original, titled, signed and dated Inspired Art pieces snail mailed to them).
I've decided that I'm going to focus my "living the creative life" posts on my private Patreon feed. Over the last 15+ years, I've given out a lot of free goodies on the internet--1,500+ thorough, unbiased reviews among them.
Now, I feel it's time to save my best soulful stuff--insights, tips and recommendations from my heart--for those who value my work enough to be my Patron for at least $1 a month.
I would love to have you become my Patron to support me and my work at https://www.patreon.com/JanetBoyer
I value what I do.
I hope you do, too.
Come party with me. 🎨💥💌
