What a mighty card to begin February with! A massive energy with massive implications but don’t be fearful because this card’s influence can truly link you with your future destiny path and lead to a sense of spiritual contentment and joy.
Other decks show this card as an angel calling the dead from their graves on Judgement day. The Rohrig deck has a very imposing and beautiful creature. If you cover each half of the face, it looks female and male, young and old. Even the face draws us into the aspect of growing, maturity, understanding and clarity of judgement and has a serious but calm energy about it. To the bottom of the card there is a judge’s gavel showing us that it is time to take stock, deal with the past, accept our part in things and move on. It is a card of endings and beginnings. The feather in the creature’s hair seems quite shamanic and tribal or could represent the creature as angelic.
The Judgement card allows for a lot of healing, be that personal, physical, mental or spiritual. It comes with forgiveness and wisdom that weakness isn’t a problem if it is learned from and that we should learn to forgive ourselves or we cannot totally move forward to what is our destiny. There can be healing of family feuds with this card and also the beginning of acceptance of new journeys and delight in freedom from past burden. So lovely.
I have noticed that this card doesn’t come up very often for people. Some cards consistently repeat time and time again in my tarot practice so when this one comes out it is normally very important. It tells me that a person may be about to go through a massive cleansing, understanding or choice that will affect their future in a big way. Sometimes the Fates bring us to a crossroads where we can make the correct destiny choice for our lives betterment. Be aware of huge choices for betterment on the horizon in the week ahead.
This card connects us with consciousness on many levels and can open us up to new ways of seeing the world/universe/spirituality. Some folk find that they develop mediumship after this card turns up for them and that spirits make their presence felt easier. Others just KNOW the direction or path they want to take.
Just like the Fool in Rohrig has the dual face aspect at the start of his journey to consciousness, so The Judgement card has this dual face too, nearing the end of one cycle of awakening. Only the World card follows on as the last Major Arcana card showing us how close we are to the end of one major life cycle and how near a new one opening is. So use Judgement card to offload baggage, step up to the plate, judge YOUR own life and be ready to step , with wonderment , into another way, path or Light.
In health this card brings healing on all levels and allows for a few sighs of relief.
In love it can lead us to be ready for new things as we let the old stuff leave our consciousness and cleanse our auras.
In finances and work it brings us to a crossroads where we see that only that which we are passionate about will ever truly make us happy.
As a truly major spiritual card it brings peace of mind, gentle cleansing, closure of negative cycle and potential for fast movement ahead. It is an end to suffering and the joy of release.
Such a lovely one! I hope you enjoy this influence in the week ahead.
