Adam McLean, the respected scholar of alchemy and collector of worldwide Tarot decks, has identified at least nine Tarot sets featuring a happy squirrel, presumably all inspired by an episode of The Simpsons in which Lisa draws card XXIII, "The Happy Squirrel." McLean found squirrels in:

• International Icon
He notes that "Robin Ator's International Icon of 2003 appears to be the earliest, followed a year or so later by Robyn Tisch Hollister's Midnight Masquerade. I would welcome notices of any I have missed from this provisional list."
Teresa Mills notes that the All Hallows Tarot also features a happy squirrel:
