"So Go On Thy Wintry Way"
This vintage illustration depicts an errand of hope and cheer. The accompanying poem reads:
What if the skies be drear?
What if the wind be chill?
There's a spirit reigning everywhere
That sings, "On earth, good-will."So go on they wintry way
With an inward hymn of mirth,
For thy errand brings hope and cheer to-day
To a sad and hopeless hearth.
